Elizabeth Hall International Elementary School




Located in Minneapolis’ Near North community, in the Near North neighborhood, Elizabeth Hall International is a magnet school. Hall is an authorized School for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) for all students.

The school serves more than 400 students in grades Pre-K through 5 and employs 31 full-time teachers. The ratio of students to teachers is 13:1.

Hall Rankings and Test Scores

Hall receives zero out of five stars at school ranking site SchoolDigger.com and it ranks 776th of 806 Minnesota public elementary schools. GreatSchools.org gives Hall one out of 10 stars.

In 2015, Hall’s fifth graders lagged both the district and the state on the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment-III math exams, with 19 percent meeting or exceeding the standard. The average for the district is        64.3 percent and it’s 59.7 percent for the state.

Although 5th graders did better on the exam’s reading portion (37.2 percent), they still lagged the district’s 81.3 and the state’s 66.7 percent.
