You may already spend time at these bars regularly without realizing they may be hidden to the masses. Here is a look at some secret bars in Minneapolis.
Marvel Bar – 50 North 2nd Avenue
The Marvel Bar is located beneath The Bachelor Farmer and has a cool secret entrance. You have to walk down 2nd Avenue North, towards the back of the building, and then on your left you’ll take the stairs down an illuminated staircase to the patio with the taupe-colored door. From there, head down the hallway to the purple door to find the entrance to Marvel Bar. Bartenders serve up some might interesting cocktails like the Oliveto, a drink made with olive oil, lemon, egg whites and Licor 43.
Bradstreet Crafthouse at The Graves Hotel – 601 1st Avenue North
Bradstreet Crafthouse is a bar and restaurant with modern décor, inspired by the pre-prohibition era. You can enjoy four different seating areas, such as the Parlour Room, with a velvet curtain or the Chef’s Counter where you can interact with the chef.
Prohibition at The Foshay – 821 Marquette Avenue, 27th Floor
The Foshay Tower’s 27th floor contains the super secretive Prohibition bar. It’s a speakeasy-style vibe with amazing views of the city’s skyline. The elevator to the 27th floor opens right up to the bar itself. They offer signature cocktails plus happy hour deals from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily.
Secrets are sometimes hard to keep, but, apparently, not in Minneapolis.
