The 3 Most Popular Homes for Sale in Minneapolis

I’ve been snooping around the “back end” of this website lately. It’s fun to see which homes are getting the most attention. This week there is a clear-cut winner. The listing for the home for sale in Near North has twice as many hits as any other listing in Minneapolis.

Let’s take a look at what’s hot on the Minneapolis real estate market right now.

Near North

Located in the Jordan community, this home is the most popular listing here on MinneapolisRealEstate.com, meaning it’s had more views than any other.

This is a 3 bedroom home with one full bathroom and one half-bathroom in 1,856 square feet of living space. The living room features lovely, dark wood floors and the rest of the home has carpet. It appears that the full bathroom has been updated.

This two-story home is in the process of becoming Green Communities and Energy Star certified with the windows, roof, appliances, furnace and water heated all rated. You’ll save big on power bills in this home.

It’s listed at $169,900 and it’s only been on the market for about three weeks.

Longfellow

I had to do a double take at the price after viewing this home – it is flat-out gorgeous yet priced at only $259,900. This is most likely why it’s the second most-viewed listing on MinneapolisRealEstate.com.

This circa 1911 home features 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and a ¾ bathroom in 2006 square feet of living space. Don’t let the year built scare you – this home has been completely and tastefully remodeled.

You’ll find granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, new windows, built-ins, French doors, stunning woodwork and more. Outdoors is just as lovely with lots of space to garden. The lower level contains a rough-in Mother-in-Law unit. This one has been on the market only a few days.

Nokomis

Located in the Wenonah neighborhood, this striking Tudor features 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom in 2,093 square feet of living space.

Built in 1942, it has had the same owner since 1966. It has been MAC improved. Look for gorgeous oak floors throughout the home, maple wood work, a formal dining room and an enclosed, three-season porch.

This home is listed at $295,000.
