La Belle Vie is a top choice in the Twin Cities area for dining. This restaurant provides plenty of excellent choices with an elegant atmosphere. They have been given an award of excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine and Zagat. If you enjoy traditional French-Mediterranean cuisine, you will want to dine at La Belle Vie.

The Menu

You will find an a la carte menu and a tasting menu at La Belle Vie. The tasting menu includes three different choices:

  • Tasting Menu $75 with an added wine flight for $48
  • Chef's Tasting Menu - $90 with an added wine flight for $65
  • Grand Tasting Menu - $145 with an added wine flight for $75

Each tasting menu is a bit different and provides many great options, such as:

  • Caviar
  • Brie
  • Halibut
  • Rabbit
  • Squab
  • Pata Negra
  • Pan Roasted Poussin
  • Grilled Dry Aged Beef
  • And More!

Along with the tasting menu, you can choose from many different items on the A la Carte menu including:

  • Seared Foie Gras
  • Roasted Quail
  • Pan Roasted Poussin
  • Japanese Black Wagyu
  • Bouillabaisse
  • And More!

The restaurant also offers excellent desserts including hose made ice creams, pineapple tarte tatin, chamomile semifreddo and more.

If you sit in the lounge, you will also have the option to choose from the lounge menu. La Belle Vie also offers an extensive wine list and plenty of excellent cocktails to compliment your meal.

Private Dining

If you need a private room, the restaurant provides the Loring Room and the Dining room for rent. They can seat up to 200 guests and provide plenty of privacy for a corporate event, wedding reception or any other type of event.

Location and Hours

La Belle Vie is found at 510 Groveland Avenue in Minneapolis. The dining room is open from 5pm to 9pm, Sunday through Thursday and from 5pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. The lounge is open later, as well.
