With training camp finally wrapping up, the 2016 NFL season is right around the corner. We know, hard to believe, right? Regardless of how fast the summer season flies by, though, it’s time to gear up for another fun year of Vikings football. And if you’re not lucky enough to swing over to the brand new U.S. Bank Stadium this year to catch a game, here are just some of the best spots in town to enjoy a little Sunday afternoon pigskin:
The Pourhouse - 10 S 5th St, Minneapolis, MN
Easily one of Minneapolis’ largest sports bars, if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, plenty of good food, and tons of tasty beer and drink options, The Pourhouse is the place to be to catch the reigning NFC North champs.
Patrick McGovern's Pub - 225 7th St. West - St. Paul, MN
A local favorite to catch a game early in the season thanks to its awesome outdoor patio, Patrick McGovern's Pub in St. Paul has one of the best game day experiences around. And aside from a great atmosphere, there’s also plenty of great NFL Game Day Specials to take advantage of as well.
Bar Zia - 420 S 4th St, Minneapolis, MN
Located just a few short blocks from U.S. Bank Stadium, there’s no better place to be on game days than this downtown watering hole. After all, if you can’t be inside the stadium cheering on the purple and gold in person, you might as well still be right in the middle of all the action before and after the game!
