The 2015 Spring Parade of Homes began Saturday and if you’re in the market to buy a new home in Minneapolis, you’ll have six homes to check out. Plus, you have until the end of March to do so.
Since a lack of space here precludes us mentioning all six of the homes on tour, we’ll list the least and most expensive and one from the middle of the price range.
Bryn Mawr Neighborhood
Tucked into the Southside Minneapolis neighborhood of Bryn Mawr you’ll find #270 on the 2015 Spring Parade of Homes. This is a two-story, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home with 3,044 square feet of living space.
Built by Ridge Creek Custom Homes, it offers lots to love. There is an office on the main floor, laundry on the second floor and a finished walkout lower level. The dreamy kitchen includes a walk-in pantry, dark wood floors and ceramic tile.
If you don’t already live in Bryn Mawr, go take a tour of the neighborhood. If you move here, you’ll be able to enjoy the delightful Bryn Mawr Neighborhood Association that hosts an informative website for both current residents and newcomers.
This home, by the way, is listed at $599,411.
Presented by Hage Homes, #267 on the Spring Parade of Homes is located in the heart of Minneapolis’ Linden Hills neighborhood. With 2,465 square feet of living space, it holds 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
One would think that when a home is being offered at $949,000 the builder would go into more detail about its features, but there you have it. That’s all they want you to know – perhaps to entice you to see it in person?
A bungalow at heart, this home’s design is well-suited to the area.
Number 268 on this spring’s 2015 Parade of Homes tour is a beauty. Modern and sleek, it’s another built by Ridge Creek Custom Homes. This home, by the way, is one of the tour’s Dream Homes, so be ready to pay $5.00 to get in the doors.
It’s a two-story home that offers 2,855 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. But, that’s only the beginning.
Look for custom touches throughout the home, including a fabulous rooftop deck to better view the lake. The home features built-ins in the dining and family rooms, a wet bar, a covered deck complete with a gas fireplace and an owner’s suite with huge windows overlooking the lake.
A lower level recreation room with heated floors and a bathroom, top-of-the-line appliances and a steam shower in the master suite round out the amenities.
This home is offered at $1,849,411.
View the homes on the Spring 2015 Parade of Homes tour Thursdays through Sundays from noon until 6:00 p.m. through March 29.
