The Gateway MinneapolisPlans for a sleek new mixed-use tower were recently unveiled, which according to developers will bring 164 luxury apartments, 300 hotel rooms, and a world-class restaurant to the heart of downtown Minneapolis. United Properties, along with its partners, JMI Realty and Greystar, are behind this impressive new project, which is being called The Gateway.

As of now, The Gateway is still in the review and approval process with the City of Minneapolis, so nothing has been made official just yet. If approved, however, the tower will stand 35 stories high, include 165 upscale rental units with an average size of 1,700 square feet, two floors of ultra-luxurious penthouse units, and a five-star 300-room hotel with a meeting space, a 10,000 square foot ballroom, a 7,500 square foot five-star restaurant, and plenty of other luxury amenities for guests and residents of the building to enjoy.

Street level retail space is also expected to be a part of The Gateway, and underground parking for up to 575 vehicles will also be available as well.

The review process is expected to continue on through the remainder of 2016 and once finalized, construction should begin for The Gateway as early as next year.
