The city of Minneapolis is making a strong pitch to developers to build up on the city’s north side neighborhoods by offering all sorts of incentives, which is an effort that the Star Tribune picked up just recently.

As a part of Minneapolis that was among the worst hit during the recession, the recovery throughout much of the city’s north side hasn’t been quite as robust as in other parts of town, which of course is the primary motivation for the new plan-of-action.

Officially rolled out back in February, the program will offer developers up to 75,000, and even individuals up to $25,000, for building a new house on one of the 400 to 500 vacant lots currently occupying the North Side, which is no small chunk of change. But with the city also

Minneapolis Homes For Sale With Over 10,000 Square Feet When it comes to buying a luxury home in Minneapolis, there are usually plenty of highly desirable and highly attractive options to consider that feature high-end finishes, plenty of living space, and a location that won’t disappoint.

But along with all the different listings that start around $500,000 or so, luxury home buyers might also see a few properties on the market that are, should we say, over-the-top.

Homes with six to seven bedrooms, seven to nine bathrooms, and over 10,000 square feet certainly aren’t commonplace around the Minneapolis area, but that certainly doesn’t mean they don’t exist. And unlike in many coastal cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, or Seattle, where home prices are out of this world, you also get a

Twin Cities New DevelopmentDevelopment is widespread all over the Twin Cities area right now, and it’s something that is especially evident when you can see it all unfolding on a map.

Just this month alone, developers have proposed several new large-scale developments for the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, including a massive 26-story apartment tower and another luxury hotel-condo combo development that’s being planned for the North Loop.

With so much construction transforming the Twin Cities metro area, it’s becoming harder and harder to keep up with that’s going on, which is why Business Journal just recently launched a pretty cool new tool they’re calling ‘Crane Watch.’

An interactive map that tracks ongoing and future development all over the Twin Cities, Crane Watch

Job growth is no doubt one of the key elements in what’s boosting the Minneapolis housing market right now and no industry is adding jobs to the state of Minnesota quite like tech.

Also noted in CompTIA’s findings is that technology accounts for
