According to recent reports, another D.R. Horton community could be coming to a development site near Target’s Brooklyn Park campus, which is sits only about a half hour from downtown Minneapolis.
Being called Cove at Northwoods Park, D.R. Horton’s new community would encompass roughly 21-acres, and Landmark Development—the land developer behind the project—could begin ground and infrastructure work as early as June should the project pass through the approval process.
The name of the new community is derived from its eventual location along the east side of Northwoods Park, which is a fairly large public park facility that features soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, a playground, and a picnic pavilion.
