U.S. News & World Report is widely recognized as being a leading media outlet for consumer advice, rankings, and analysis, which is why its annual list of Best Places to Live in the United State is so highly anticipated. 

Earliest this month, the 2017 rankings were released, and although the Minneapolis-St. Paul area wasn’t quite as high up on the list as some might assume, it still scored high enough to just squeak inside the top 20, ahead of Madison, Grand Rapids, and Houston.
