Target Center, in case you’re new to the area, is Minneapolis’ multi-use arena and home of the Timberwolves. Target Field, located nearby is our baseball park, home of the Minnesota Twins. In 2011, ESPN named Target Field as number one on the continent for quality, fan-friendliness (hey, it’s Minnesota, of course we got that one!) and frequency of game-day promotions. By the way, we fell to number 9 last year.
The food at Target Field is an entirely different matter. Sure, a lot of it is tasty, but from $9.50 for a tot dish (covered in “generic cheese glop,” according to the Star Tribune’s food critic Rick Nelson) to Korean fried chicken sandwiches ($13), or $8.50 for a small burger, you’ll pay big bucks to eat and drink, at the game.
